## Description

As an Applied AI Security Architect at Anthropic, you will serve as a trusted security expert for enterprise customers, particularly in healthcare and life sciences. You will engage with CISOs, security architects, and compliance officers to address their concerns about deploying AI systems securely.

Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise on security and compliance during customer engagements, focusing on AI architecture, data flows, encryption, and deployment models.

- Collaborate with customers to design solutions meeting regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GxP, HITECH, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.

- Conduct technical deep-dives on network architecture, data residency, API security, and integration patterns for regulated environments.

- Support security reviews and due diligence processes with detailed documentation and expert guidance.

- Work closely with Anthropic's product and engineering teams to understand AI security capabilities and influence roadmap priorities.

- Develop security-focused collateral and best practices documentation for regulated industries.

- Travel to customer sites for security workshops and strategic account meetings.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in enterprise security, cloud architecture, or technical pre-sales, particularly in regulated industries.

- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise security concepts, including network security, identity and access management, and encryption.

- Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare and life sciences.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex security topics clearly.

Annual Salary: $315,000-$380,000 USD
