## Description

We are seeking an Associate Director- Structures to lead an engineering team, focusing on production, liaison with the WSP US Team, and mentoring team members.

## Responsibilities

- Lead project work and manage a team of engineers, reporting to the WSP USA office.

- Ensure design progress is communicated to lead region project managers, explaining design decisions.

- Follow document control and QA processes for project work, issuing and filing documents correctly.

- Conduct detailed designs according to client requirements and American standard codes, performing complex calculations and coordinating with the WSP USA office.

- Organize technical calculations, supervise team members, and report issues or risks to the WSP USA office.

- Handle day-to-day queries from the WSP USA Team, providing information on time.

- Determine suitable software for Computer-Aided Design, construct models, and undertake analysis and manual checks.

- Mentor junior engineers, helping them understand the design process.

- Assist in mentoring senior and junior engineers, organizing training as needed.

## Key Competencies

- Proven experience in designing building structures in a similar role.

- Strong management, communication, and technical skills.

- Excellent presentation skills.

- Fluency in English with technical terminology expertise.

- Experience leading and managing large, multidisciplinary teams.

- Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, SP-Column, SAP 2000, RAM SS, ADAPT Builder, Rhino, and REVIT.

- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office applications.

- Proficient in Reinforced Concrete, Steel, and PT Designs.

- Experience handling tall building projects, preferably in the US.

- Ability to develop spreadsheets and automate tasks.

## Qualifications

- B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.Tech in Structural Engineering.

- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in a US state.

- 15-20 years of experience.
