## Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn Dulles, a leading business class hotel in Sterling, Virginia. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to high standards, supporting other cooks, and enforcing health regulations. You will play a key role in achieving financial results, guest satisfaction, and positive team member relations.

**Responsibilities:**

- Ensure high-quality food production and presentation, adhering to Holiday Inn brand standards.

- Conduct daily line checks, audits, and implement improvements.

- Manage food costs, maintain company assets, and prolong resource life.

- Provide excellent guest service, addressing concerns promptly.

- Lead by example with food safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.

- Demonstrate effective self-management, communication skills, and collaboration.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or GED.

- College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience.

- 2+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience.

- Detail-oriented, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.

- Work extended hours with physically demanding responsibilities.
