## Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer - Traffic Signals Design to join our established team serving the UK private development and public sector markets. The successful candidate will support high-profile projects in London, across the UK, and internationally, focusing on transport models, junction traffic junction design, and analysis. The role offers an excellent opportunity to progress your career, work within a successful team, and grow the Junctions modelling capability in WSP India.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct quality checks of data and model outputs

- Research and review design options for technical and economic impact

- Support Project Managers for on-time completion of tasks

- Take ownership of tasks and search for solutions

- Maintain healthy contact with different UK offices for modelling and design tasks

- Ensure Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices

- Communicate clearly with colleagues in India and the UK

- Work within project constraints such as time, budget, and resource

- Attend and contribute to team and project meetings

Key Competencies/Skills:

- Understanding of Design General principles

- Familiarity with software theories and limitations

- Experience with Junctions 9 & LinSig

- Ability to prepare documentation and carry out MOVA/UTC design work

- Experience in supporting Signals Specifications

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking

- Experience in Key SIGNALS

- Good understanding of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel

- Good written and spoken English

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering

- Master's in Transport or equivalent

- Up to 9+ years of experience
