## Description

Ajax Systems is seeking a QA Team Lead to oversee the QA team and processes, as well as technically dive into the product. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a QA Team/Tech Lead or Senior QA Engineer with experience in team management, mentoring, and task distribution.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and plan tasks for the QA team, determine priorities, and control their execution

- Mentor QA engineers, evaluate team performance, and create development plans

- Interact with developers, PMs, and adjacent teams

- Configure and optimize QA processes for high release rates

- Implement quality metrics and use them for decision-making

- Improve testing quality and help the team find systemic problems in processes and products

- Work with the product, which combines hardware, firmware, backend/cloud, and client applications

- Investigate and localize complex problems, analyzing logs, network interactions, and system behavior

- Conduct technical analysis of problems, search for root causes, and interact with developers to resolve them

- Research real-life product usage cases and user feedback to improve quality

- Collaborate with SDET engineers to develop automated coverage

- Use scripts and automation tools for testing, diagnostics, and problem research

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a QA Team/Tech Lead or Senior QA Engineer

- Strong QA foundation and practical experience testing complex products

- Deep technical understanding of complex system principles and ability to independently investigate components

- Practical experience analyzing logs, component interactions, and searching for root causes of technical problems

- Ability to quickly understand new products and their structure

- Leadership skills, deadline management, and decision-making abilities

- Strong communication skills and willingness to discuss problems and interact with adjacent teams

Nice to Have:

- Experience working with Embedded/Firmware/Hardware products

- Experience with complex systems and integrations

- Basic understanding of network technologies and video streaming

- Automation skills or scripting experience in Python/Bash

- Experience testing video products
