## Description

We are seeking a Vice President in Global Markets to execute trades and manage risk within a defined portfolio of financial instruments. You will stay informed about market trends and developments to make informed trading decisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Execute buy and sell orders or price liquidity in various financial instruments while adhering to the bank's trading strategies and risk parameters.

- Monitor and analyze global financial markets, economic indicators, news, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities and assess market risks.

- Manage and monitor the risk associated with the trading portfolio and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines.

- Collaborate with research analysts and other teams to gather insights and information for trading decisions.

**Vice President Expectations:**

- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.

- Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.

- If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, plan for the department's future needs and operations, counsel employees on performance, and contribute to employee pay decisions/changes.

- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work of your team.

- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organization's functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.

**Additional Responsibilities:**

- Provide quantitative and analytical expertise to support trading strategies, risk management, and decision-making within emerging markets trading desk.

- Apply quantitative analysis, mathematical modeling, and technology to optimize systematic trading processes.

- Develop and implement quantitative models and strategies to derive insight into market trends.

- Optimize trading decisions, pricing, and risk management across various financial products and markets.

- Work with sales teams to identify clients' needs and develop customized solutions.

- Conduct in-depth research, data analysis, and statistical modeling to derive insights into market trends, pricing, and risk dynamics.

- Provide front office infrastructure support through ownership and maintenance of analytical libraries.

**Salary Information:**

- Minimum Salary: $150,000.00 per year

- Maximum Salary: $225,000.00 per year
