## Description

Rolls-Royce Deutschland is seeking a talented individual to investigate a measurement system for temperature distribution analysis in combustion chambers and turbines. The successful candidate will carry out fundamental investigations of this measurement system, which analyses the reflectance spectra of temperature-sensitive paints.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Familiarisation with the subject area and literature review

- Experimental design and planning

- Test rig setup and execution of experiments

- Data analysis and presentation of results

- Compilation of findings and documentation

**Requirements:**

- Knowledge of image processing, imaging spectroscopy, and technical optics

- Programming skills for data analysis (e.g. Python, MATLAB, or similar)

- Enthusiasm for practical experimentation and hands-on laboratory work

The scope of the topic can be adapted for a Bachelor's thesis, Master's thesis, or student research project, and is expected to last approximately six months.
