## Description

At Bayer, we're seeking a Senior Director Field Medical, Oncology to join our team. As a leader in the field medical organization, you will be responsible for building a high-performance culture within the Field Medical organization. You will ensure the execution of the US Medical Affairs Brand Plan, in partnership with the Customer Engagement AVP, Medical Director(s), Area General Manager(s), and other key stakeholders across multiple therapeutic areas within an assigned geography.

Your core responsibilities will include leadership, field medical strategy, coaching and development, and collaboration/strategic partnerships. You will be accountable for hiring, coaching, and development of a team of Field MSL's and other Field Medical team members as appropriate within their area of responsibilities. You will also be responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing MSL team in line with Bayer's performance culture framework and individual role responsibilities.

In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency of processes, standards, tools, and communication methods within the Therapeutic Areas with strategic and functional alignment with larger Field Medical direction and guidance. You will also be accountable for consistent execution of performance culture within the area team.

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in a science-related field (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN), proven management experience of Field Medical professionals, demonstrated formal leadership experience, clear strategic, tactical, and visionary capabilities, and excellent project management ability.
