## Description

We are seeking a General Operator to join our team at 3M Indianapolis, Indiana. As a General Operator, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative people around the world and make an impact by utilizing your skills and expertise.

**Your Skills and Expertise** To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Recognize numerous process and product defects, diagnose and perform process troubleshooting, and make various process adjustments.

- Comprehend and utilize PLC & MMI computer-controlled interface with equipment.

- Use test and measuring equipment in the manufacturing of finished goods.

- Use pneumatic presses and punch-out equipment.

**Required: (Basic Qualifications)**

- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start).

- Work rotating shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekends, holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage.

- Minimum two (2) months of operating production machinery.

**Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:**

- Minimum six (6) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
