## Description

Technology drives what we do at NEXT, and as a Tech Placement, you will be a vital part of our evolution. This role is designed to help you learn and grow by giving you hands-on experience and real responsibilities.

You will play a key part in migrating our platforms from our own servers to the cloud. This will give you hands-on experience with a range of technologies, including Infrastructure-as-code to build and manage environments automatically and Azure DevOps for creating automated pipelines that build and release software. You will also work with Docker and Kubernetes to run applications in containers, and use PowerShell and other scripts to automate tasks.

You will also get to work with both Windows and Linux servers, as well as SQL databases. Additionally, you will learn how our applications are built using the .NET Framework and C#, gaining a solid understanding of the entire development lifecycle.

As a member of the team, you will help project teams use our cloud environments efficiently and collaborate with our brilliant in-house security and auditing teams. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact on our migration projects from day one.

This is a 12-month industrial placement and applicants must be studying a relevant University Degree course that includes a dedicated placement year July 2027 to July 2028.
