## Description

As a Non-Food Manager at Asda, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the George and GM departments in store.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution, seasonal events, and theatre in store

- Ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues

- Driving strategy into action by planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor

- Leading and coaching your team to constantly improve routine and processes

- Focusing on results to ensure shopfloor and promotional activity is landed to brief and on time

- Developing talent by listening with empathy, driving resilience, and encouraging ownership

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment

- Operational knowledge of non-food departments

- Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink

- Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience

- Strong organisational skills and great customer service

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings
