We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Assistant to join our team in Heber City, Utah. As a certified medical assistant, you will facilitate quality patient care under the supervision of the provider.

Responsibilities:

- Verify patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit, and reconciling medication lists

- Prepare patients for examinations by performing preliminary physical tests

- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records

- Help with office procedures, injections, and other tasks as requested

- Triage phone messages from patients and respond as directed

- Communicate test and lab results and transmit other information from provider to patient

- Schedule referrals and follow-ups as needed

- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures

Qualifications:

- Completion of and certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program

- CPR certification (or completed within 4 months of hiring)

- Working knowledge of medical terminology

- Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push, and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

- Excellent computer, telephone, and communication skills

- Outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail

Benefits:

- Part-time position with potential to move to full-time hours

- Competitive hourly rate (not specified)

Hours:

- Part-time, 20-29 hours per week

- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

- Hours vary depending on provider's clinic and location
