## Description

As an Associate Director Electrical Engineer (Building Services) at WSP, you will take a leading role in prestigious projects, providing design and technical advice as a project manager. You will work in a joint leadership capacity within a mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) discipline team.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of engineers in delivering projects

- Provide design and technical advice as a project manager

- Supervise the completion of detailed designs and oversee the work of others

- Conduct feasibility studies and lead the overall feasibility study for projects

- Direct the production of detailed performance specifications

- Act as the client's key point of contact and ensure project delivery meets client requirements and internal KPIs

- Develop client relationships and promote new business opportunities

- Manage the technical, cost, and programme elements of project delivery

- Hold regular team meetings to discuss resourcing, staff issues, and project progress

Requirements:

- Ability to work as part of a team and take a leading role in managing engineers

- Technical judgment and resourcefulness in feasibility studies, concept, scheme, and detailed design

- Working knowledge of UK electrical building services design, including relevant standards, codes, and regulations

- BPSS security clearance

- Experience with low voltage distribution systems, cable calculations, lighting calculations, energy lighting, small power, fire detection and alarm systems, intruder detection, access control and security systems, disabled call systems, data cabling and outlets, and lightning protection
