## Description

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their team in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. The successful candidate will provide Tier 2 support for maintaining multiple large Enterprise environments that span CONUS and OCONUS boundaries.

The role involves system administrative duties, including management of Windows and Linux workstations, troubleshooting application functionality, investigating user performance issues, and assisting customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications.

Key responsibilities include:

- System administration duties for Windows and Linux workstations

- Troubleshooting application functionality, crashes, and performance issues

- Investigating user performance and collaborating with external teams to improve user experience

- Providing remote end-user desktop support

- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term solutions

- Communicating effectively with various individuals and working within small and large team environments

- Participating in special projects as required

- Providing initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of related experience and knowledge of:

- Active Directory Administration

- DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP

- Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016

- Application troubleshooting for Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer

- Linux Operating System

- Service Now, NETS, or other ticketing processes

- ITIL v3 or higher

Preferred skills include:

- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager

- PowerShell

- Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix)

- Profile management using VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset

- Microsoft Exchange

- Telephone/Video support

- Networking

- Familiarity with site-specific customer and mission

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250.
