## Description

We are seeking a full-time or part-time trained Advanced Nurse or Paramedic Practitioner (with a prescribing qualification) to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will provide patient access to both scheduled and unscheduled care provision.

The role involves delivering convenient accessible care, providing assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatments of acute episodes of minor health and minor injury conditions, working in partnership with patients to agree management plans, and promoting self-care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting patient consultations using specialist knowledge

- Providing urgent care in emergencies

- Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines

- Ensuring referrals to other primary and secondary services are made in line with agreed guidelines

- Prescribing according to and within scope of practice

- Utilising diagnostic and clinical skills

- Maintaining effective communication with patients and team members

- Managing the nursing team on a day-to-day basis

Requirements:

- Registered General Nurse 1st level (or equivalent)

- Post registration/graduate diploma or equivalent in a specific field

- ALS or willingness to undertake

- Evidence of continuing professional development

- Nurse prescriber / Non medical prescriber

- A minimum of 4 years post registration experience in community, A & E or minor injury or walk in centre

- Experience of multi-disciplinary working

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Broad range of excellent clinical skills

Desirable:

- Previous experience of management of nursing team

- Experience of working in primary care

- Experience of working in a GP practice

- Proven track record in relation to research-based practice

- Experience with audit
