## Description

GitLab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Duo CLI functional team within the Developer Clients group. The engineer will design and build tools integrating GitLab Duo into developers' terminal workflows, primarily using TypeScript.

The role involves shaping AI-assisted experiences across GitLab Duo CLI and its infrastructure, making key architectural decisions, and providing technical leadership. Collaboration with engineers across Developer Clients and the AI Clients stage will be essential.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and evolve GitLab Duo CLI features

- Build interactive terminal experiences in TypeScript

- Improve reliability, observability, and performance of the CLI

- Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineers to align technical decisions with GitLab's strategy

- Champion product quality, security, and developer experience

Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript

- Experience with command-line tools or developer-facing tooling

- Ability to own technical problems end-to-end and guide other engineers

- Clear English communication skills and comfort working in a remote, asynchronous environment

- Alignment with GitLab's values and commitment to an inclusive culture

The base salary range for this role is 272,000 - 408,000 PLN.
