## Description

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic Tysons Social Tavern team at the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons.

This role involves ensuring overall effective operations of the department, including adherence to health regulations and liquor laws, and driving revenue, maximizing profit, and ensuring quality.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading food and beverage staff to achieve business goals

- Ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving complaints

- Managing staff, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, and development

- Implementing service programs to achieve business revenue goals

- Managing expenses to maximize hotel profitability

- Conducting routine inspections to maintain quality standards

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred

- 3+ years of progressive food and beverage experience, with at least one year of supervisory/management experience

- Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification required

- Ability to communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

- 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in a hotel setting

- Experience with a venue of similar size, volume, and reputation for focus on guest satisfaction

- Basic knowledge of culinary operation, restaurant, banquet, and beverage service
