## Description

Kansas Speedway seeks motivated individuals to join our Maintenance team. This is a seasonal position to assist the team in preparing the facility and grounds for events and to maintain and improve the overall condition of the buildings and grounds.

**General Maintenance**

- Perform general building and grounds maintenance and upkeep, including cleaning, power washing, garbage removal, mowing, weed whipping, tree trimming, landscaping, painting, and event setup.

- Operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.

**Janitorial**

- Clean and remove trash from office buildings, houses, suite buildings, etc.

- Clean, sanitise, and stock restrooms.

- Operate hand and power tools, carts and vehicles.

**Signs/Hospitality**

- Maintain and install signs, vinyl application and installation of large banners.

- Paint ground graphics and walls and buildings.

- Set up and install tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment for events.

- Operate forklifts and boom lifts is preferred.

- Operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

- Valid Driver's License

- Ability to work overtime including some evenings and weekends

- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather elements

- Frequently lifting and carrying objects/material up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

- Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
