## Description

We are seeking a Field Adjuster to join our Property Field Claims team. As a Field Adjuster, you will be responsible for completing on-site and virtual inspections of residential property claims, capturing the scope of damages, and writing repair estimates to settle claims.

Responsibilities:

- Complete on-site and virtual inspections of residential property claims

- Capture the scope of damages and write repair estimates to settle claims

- Reconcile and validate vendor estimates to ensure price and scope are appropriate

- Investigate claims by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers

- Review facts, policy, technical reports, and make decisions on coverage and claim value

- Provide exemplary customer service and keep related parties informed of claim status

- Ensure data accuracy and issue payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance companies

- Assist during CAT events in Canada

- Correspond with third parties, lawyers, insureds, brokers, and individuals with an interest in claim settlement

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Field Adjuster handling Personal Lines claims

- Strong understanding of Property Insurance

- Ability to scope damages and prepare estimates for repairs (preferred)

- Good PC skills and adaptability to new technology

- Valid driver's license
