## Description

SpaceXAI is seeking an Industrial Welder to support the buildout of high-performance data centers. You will fit and weld large industrial piping and structural steel to ASME Section IX standards.

## Responsibilities:

- Fit, tack, and weld large-bore industrial piping and structural steel according to ASME Section IX welding procedure specifications.

- Lay out, cut, bevel, grind, and align joints; check fit-up and reinforcement before and after welding.

- Read and interpret isometric, spool, and structural drawings; work to weld maps and heat numbers.

- Support hanging of strut, supports, and structural members; assist with equipment set and bolt-up.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including staging and inventory of materials and tools.

- Follow safety protocols, including LOTO, PPE, and hot-work permits.

- Report damaged materials, rejected welds, and unsafe conditions.

## Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of journey-level industrial construction welding experience, or equivalent military experience.

## Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Hands-on experience with GTAW (TIG) on stainless steel and/or SMAW (stick) on carbon steel.

- ASME Section IX qualification or ability to pass a pre-employment weld test.

- Experience working at heights, outdoors, and on changing construction sites.

- Familiarity with welding machines, torches, grinders, and related tools.

- Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow site procedures.

- Prior experience on data center, industrial, or heavy-civil construction sites.
