## Description

The Bridles care home in Wincanton is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the home, leading a team of housekeepers, and maintaining a comfortable environment for residents.

The Bridles is a state-of-the-art care home providing residential, nursing, and specialist dementia care. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering person-centred care and supporting the independence of residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Ensure high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with maintenance and management teams

- Lead by example, performing tasks such as vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and maintaining communal areas and resident bedrooms

- Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, training, and ensuring necessary supplies are stocked

**Requirements:**

- Experience in a housekeeping role, with a focus on maintaining high standards and organized environments

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

- Approachable and caring nature, with a desire to get to know residents and work closely with other teams
