## Description

We are seeking a Dual Service Officer to join our team at Killingworth Shopping Centre. As a Dual Service Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises in a busy shopping centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out daily cleaning within the Centre following PPM Schedules to maintain a clean and safe environment for all visitors

- Ensuring efficient recycling and waste management is carried out

- Maintaining welfare facilities in good condition

- Liaising with all colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Centre

- Cleaning car parks, manually brushing edges, along with emptying and replacing bin liners

- Conducting daily inspections of site streets, car parks, service roads/areas, and public access areas

- Ensuring all Health & Safety checks are carried out as requested by Facilities Manager & Centre Manager

- Communicating and delivering Health and Safety practices and regulations to company/centre specifications

- Preventing, detecting, and investigating disturbances, offences on site, signs of intrusion, and ensuring security of doors and gates

- Accurately reporting all incidents & accidents, writing reports of daily activities and irregularities

- Viewing and downloading recorded footage and maintaining effective multiple information feeds simultaneously

- Dealing with individuals who act in an anti-social manner, and escorting individuals from the Centre/site

- Responding to emergency situations as they arise, liaising with emergency services

- Ensuring all contractors have a valid permit to work before commencing any works

- Performing reception duties, including answering telephone calls and taking messages

- Testing fire alarm systems and dealing promptly with alarm activations

- Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety

As a Dual Service Officer, you will need to have:

- Excellent customer service skills

- Great communication skills

- A professional approach with sound judgement and integrity

- The ability to remain calm under pressure

- Flexibility to cover holidays and sick leave

- A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
