## Description

We are seeking a Financial Senior Analyst to join our team at American Honda Motor Company. As a Financial Senior Analyst, you will use your superior analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles to provide business intelligence on key drivers and financial performance of assigned Business Units. You will advise assigned groups on the financial implications of investment and expense activities and influence business strategy and decision-making by leadership to maximize efficiency and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and review budget vs actual comparisons for responsible business units based on professional accounting standards.

- Ensure consistent application of accounting and finance principles across all assigned areas.

- Prepare and review month-end close activities, including analysis of complex financial information.

- Communicate key drivers of financial performance and provide forward-looking guidance on financial trends to leadership.

- Oversee the creation of 6 budget events per year.

- Review information provided by others to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

- Create presentations to advise executive management of budget to actual condition and make recommendations for actionable strategies to improve performance.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience.

- Associate's degree with 7+ years of Accounting experience.

- Advanced knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.

- Advanced knowledge of accounting functions and terminology.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

- Strong knowledge of SAP, including the BPC module.
