## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic RYA Senior Instructor to join the senior team at Wimbledon Park Watersports Centre.

The successful candidate will work a flexible 35 contracted hours per week, which may vary depending on demand, and will be required to work some weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

**Experience and Qualifications:**

- Essential:

+ RYA Senior Instructor (dinghy)   + Paddlesports experience (either qualified instructor, experienced personal paddling, or willingness to learn)   + Excellent communication skills   + Experience in coaching adults and children, including those with additional needs

- Desirable:

+ BCAB Paddlesports Instructor (or British Canoeing Instructor) or higher paddlesport qualification   + RYA Powerboat Instructor   + At least one year's experience working in a Recognised Training Centre (RTC) as an active Senior Instructor   + RYA Windsurf Instructor   + Racing/Advanced Instructor endorsements   + Good technical knowledge of the RYA

**Duties:**

- Deliver high-quality sessions across various activities, including taster paddlesport sessions, 5-day children's holiday courses, and 2-day RYA sailing/powerboat courses

- Support the WPWC senior team in managing and running the centre day-to-day

- Assist in maintaining the centre facilities and equipment

- Support the development of staff and volunteers

- Act as the instructor in charge (deputised by the management when offsite) and as a keyholder
