## Description

Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Investment Research team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing best-in-class investment strategies and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily portfolio management and trading support tasks.

**Compensation**

- The base salary range for this role is CA$123.2K – CA$154K, with equity compensation for permanent employees.

**What you'll do**

- Conduct daily order reviews for algorithm-generated trades across managed portfolios.

- Perform systematic reviews of managed accounts to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and systemic trading issues.

- Execute daily portfolio management and trading support tasks reliably and efficiently.

- Collaborate with internal trading desks, investment operations, and product teams to streamline trade execution workflows and enhance portfolio tracking capabilities.

**Skills you bring**

- 1-2 years of professional experience in portfolio operations, trade execution, or financial analysis within a modern financial institution or fintech setting.

- Strong analytical thinking and quantitative problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate operational risks clearly and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
