## Description

Product Testing Engineer is responsible for executing development projects to generate functioning prototypes that will eventually become production ATV/SxS vehicles, researching and applying new technologies to support business targets and maintaining global vehicle product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing basic component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototype vehicles that achieve concept targets, function requirements, and manufacturing requisites with minimal supervision.

Setting basic performance targets to satisfy vehicle concept and competitiveness.

Performing validations of specification targets, requirements, components, and complete vehicles through application of engineering principles, simulations, and physical testing with minimal supervision.

Maintaining accurate technical, development, and administrative documentation as required.

Creating and managing schedules of individual work to ensure deadlines are met, communicating resource needs with supervisor, and effectively utilizing contractor resources with minimal supervision.

Generating basic ideas that contribute to the evolution of new technologies.

Supporting market quality themes.

Utilizing problem-solving methods to investigate root causes.

Advancing and implementing countermeasure specs as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience with data acquisition, hands-on experience maintaining and repairing vehicles, and experience riding Power Sports products.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience in the Power Sports industry, capable data acquisition and laboratory skills, analytical, problem-solving, judgement, decision-making, and prioritization skills, and competent written and oral communication skills.

The working conditions include up to 10% travel, primarily working at a desk, some work in a lab and/or test vehicle, frequent keyboarding, kneeling, standing, reaching, squatting, bending, pushing, and lifting.

Overtime is expected based on project demands and responsibilities.
