## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Mt Pleasant location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with various tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports

- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various conditions

- Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion

- Use equipment such as exercise machines, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to treat patients

- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of South Carolina

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a physical therapy setting

- Certification in a specialized area of physical therapy

- Bilingual or multilingual skills
