## Description

We are seeking a Global Trade Controls Specialist to join our team at Millennium Space Systems, a leading small satellite company focused on national security space. As a Global Trade Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export and import regulations, working closely with the Global Trade Controls (GTC) manager and Boeing counterparts.

**Responsibilities:**

- Process supplier requests, denied party screenings, visitor approvals, and technical data reviews

- Conduct jurisdiction, product classification, and HTS/Schedule B for products, software, and related technology

- Consult with internal and external business partners to ensure compliant handling of international efforts

- Communicate procedural changes via email, training, and other communication vehicles

- Develop and conduct audits of internal controls and procedures

- Support external audits and inquiries from US governmental control agencies

- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the company

**Requirements:**

- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in export and import controls, supplier reviews, etc.

- Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

- Background in import/export regulations, compliance, classifications, licensing, and exemptions

- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills

- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, requiring US Citizenship

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree or certification

- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and phone etiquette

- Ability to work across multiple functional departments/organizations

- Technical background for jurisdiction and classifications in hardware, software, and technology

**Pay Range:**

- Level 2: $79,900 - $117,500

- Level 3: $96,050 - $141,250
