## Description

As an Industrial Engineer on the Production Controls team, you will develop and maintain discrete event simulation models and critical chain schedules that drive production planning for Anduril's advanced AI factory.

## Responsibilities

- Develop plant and equipment layouts, material flow paths, and space allocation for a new maritime factory.

- Create capacity plans and rate models, including sensitivity analysis.

- Sequence operations and workflow, breaking down builds into stations and determining parallel runs.

- Use discrete-event simulation to validate capacity before building.

- Design and optimize the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.

- Feed precedence networks for dynamic scheduling.

- Provide technical direction on production system design.

- Work with architecture firms and consultants on requirements.

## Required Qualifications

- 10+ years in production system design, factory design, or manufacturing engineering for large complex products.

- Demonstrated capacity or rate modeling experience.

- Comfort with simulation or quantitative modeling tools.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations research, manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, or related technical field.

- Shipyard or aerospace final-assembly experience.

- Greenfield or major-expansion factory work.

- MES/ERP fluency.
