## Description

Join our team at the Mercure Plaza Republique hotel in the heart of Lyon. This 82-room boutique hotel features a lively bar with a summer terrace and hosts various events. As a certified Clef Verte hotel since 2024, we prioritise reducing our environmental impact and serving high-quality local products.

As part of our restaurant team, you will work in our bar and serve breakfast from June to August. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and serving drinks at the bar, adhering to brand standards

- Setting up and restocking the bar

- Managing inventory

- Being knowledgeable about bar products and menu items

As a customer experience ambassador, you will:

- Manage our dining offer

- Provide warm and personalised welcome to guests

- Take orders using our software and handle cash transactions

- Offer recommendations and advice on our services

- Contribute to achieving objectives, including product knowledge and procedural compliance

- Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment

In terms of hygiene and safety, you will:

- Maintain a clean workspace, following HACCP guidelines

- Adhere to equipment usage and safety instructions

- Know and apply hotel safety rules (fire safety, etc.)

- Uphold the commitments outlined in our Environmental Charter (energy conservation, recycling, waste sorting, etc.)

For breakfast service, your tasks will include:

- Welcoming guests with a smile

- Clearing and resetting tables, replenishing the buffet, and preparing for the next day

We are looking for someone with:

- Team spirit and initiative

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to create ambiance and make sales

- Knowledge of bar products, techniques, and regulations

- Strong English skills

- Dynamic, rigorous, and organised personality

- Good presentation
