## Description

Freshfields LLP, a renowned Anglo-Saxon business law firm based in Paris for over fifty years, is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join their Corporate Law team as an intern for 3 to 6 months.

As a Corporate Law Intern, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative, and friendly team that handles various transactions such as mergers and acquisitions of listed and unlisted companies, corporate governance, private equity, capital markets, and restructuring of companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting complex legal research

- Drafting memoranda and corporate and transactional documents

- Monitoring signing and closing operations

- Participating in training and development courses provided to team members

- Working closely with other practice groups, including Finance, Tax, and Social, as well as with foreign offices

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- An excellent academic background in law with a Master 2 degree in business law

- A very good level of both spoken and written English

- Strong analytical and synthesis skills

- Rigour and organisational skills

- Active listening skills and the ability to clarify and share information

- Good interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication in French and English

- Ability to work in a team in a spirit of mutual assistance
