## Description

We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to join our Structures Supervision team on major projects across the UAE. The role offers the opportunity to lead site supervision activities, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality structural and infrastructure works.

Responsibilities:

- Lead construction supervision activities for specific projects.

- Establish a construction management plan to ensure all contracts are administered to a common standard and practice.

- Initiate and respond to contract correspondence with Clients and Contractors.

- Arrange, chair, and record meetings, including kick-off, progress, and management meetings.

- Establish procedures for inspection approvals, testing, and commissioning.

- Review the contractor's HSE plan and ensure safety procedures are followed.

- Review and comment on the contractor's programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

- Monitor contractor progress and assess output.

- Implement QMS requirements and conduct regular audits.

- Ensure liaison with service authorities to avoid delays.

- Certify interim and final payments.

- Prepare substantial completion reports.

- Issue taking-over and defects liability certificates.

Qualifications:

- BEng or BSc (Hons) in Civil/Structural Engineering.

- Minimum 20 years' experience in managing major building projects.

- Prior UAE experience with a consulting background.

- Comprehensive proficiency in discipline-specific software.

- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
