## Description

At Morgan & Morgan, we're seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA.

As a Medical Malpractice Attorney, you will handle and support a heavy and complex case-load of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep, and trial.

Responsibilities:

- Handle medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial

- Draft and file litigation documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions

- Guide clients through the case process

- Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports

- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Qualifications:

- Law degree from a fully accredited law school

- Active member in good standing with the GA State Bar Association

- 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally involving medical negligence/malpractice, catastrophic injury, and/or nursing home matters

- Ability to manage high volume

- Excellent client service and communication skills

- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
