As a System Administrator – Server & Clients, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical safety and availability of the server and client landscape for Vattenfall Wasserkraft GmbH, including monitoring.

Your key responsibilities:

- Maintain and improve the server and client landscape across all locations of Vattenfall Wasserkraft GmbH

- Identify and implement measures to ensure technical safety, availability, and stability of the systems

- Collaborate on planning and implementing system changes and optimisations

- Manage budgets and costs for assigned projects

- Provide support to service partners for engineering services

- Participate in acceptance testing, commissioning, and releasing completed and repaired system components

Requirements:

- Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Professional experience in client-server structures under Windows and Linux, syslog, monitoring, WSUS, backup and virus protection, virtualisation environments (ESXi, VMware), NAS, AD, asset and vulnerability management

- High level of reliability, sense of responsibility, assertiveness, organisational and teamwork skills, resilience, and ability to make quick decisions

- Driver's license class B

- Knowledge of KRITIS requirements for power generators is desirable
