## Description

We are seeking a Door Supervisor to join our team at Walkergate Shopping Centre in Durham. As the public face of the Door Supervisory Team, you will be responsible for providing exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service to clients and visitors.

Responsibilities:

- Interact with visitors and tenants, delivering first-class customer-focused service

- Conduct regular patrols of the venue, being proactive and looking for opportunities to assist visitors

- Safeguard the venue and car parking areas, ensuring a safe and non-threatening environment for all

- Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures

- Liaise with the site control room and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support

- Record and log non-conformances and emergencies with the control room operatives

- Deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies, keeping the centre team informed

- Monitor and surveil suspect individuals, logging and reporting incidents in line with site/company policies

- Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorised access by banned individuals

- Adhere to radio procedures and record events/incidents in the staff notebook correctly

Requirements:

- Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times

- Previous Door Supervisory experience preferred

- Take ownership of situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary

- Stay motivated and aim high
