## Description

The Trading Operations team at HKEX plays a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of Hong Kong's cash and derivatives markets.

As part of the Business Reporting & Controls function, the Associate will oversee regulatory reporting obligations, deliver timely market information to stakeholders, and partner with teams to enhance reporting capabilities, improve data quality, and automate manual processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare, validate, and submit regulatory reports to authorities in a timely and accurate manner.

- Produce recurring and ad hoc management reports, dashboards, and business reporting packs to support operational oversight, risk monitoring, and decision-making.

- Review existing reporting processes and control frameworks to identify opportunities for enhancement and increased efficiency.

- Design, implement, and maintain preventive and detective controls to strengthen reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.

- Partner with business, technology, and data teams to automate manual reporting processes and reduce operational risk.

- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure the integrity of business reporting outputs.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in trading operations, regulatory reporting, or related operational support functions within the financial services industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues and develop practical solutions.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Proficient in developing and maintaining End User Computing (EUC) applications, including Excel-based reporting tools, macros, and automation solutions.

- Experience with data visualization and workflow optimization tools would be an advantage.

- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin), with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
