## Description

We are seeking a Lead Night Manager to join our team at Asda, a retail organisation operating larger format stores. As a Lead Night Manager, you will manage and lead the night team to ensure the smooth operation of the store during nighttime hours, focusing on delivering high availability and shop floor standards across all departments while maintaining a safe and legal environment for customers and colleagues.

The role involves working a rolling rota and 4 nights over 7, including weekend working. You will be solely responsible for the store during the night and must be confident in overseeing operations as a whole, given that the store is open 24 hours.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Drive strategy into action: Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop floor during the night shift, ensuring delivery is date rotated and waste and returns are managed correctly.

- Lead with impact: Lead and coach night colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shop floor standards while creating a culture of serving customers with personality, heart, and pride.

- Execution-focused: Ensure the shop floor is landed and presentable for customers before handing over to the day team, with modular activity well executed and POS up to date.

- Talent Development: Listen with empathy, drive resilience, and encourage ownership, focus, and passion for the business.

**Requirements:**

- Experience managing teams in a large-format retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.

- Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.

- Confidence in developing large teams and managing change.

- Strong customer service focus.

- Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.
