As part of the HR Business Partner team, People Partners play an integral role in partnering with leaders, managers, and employees to create a culture where people thrive. The successful candidate will provide best-in-class support and partnership to Dropbox leaders and employees, focusing on talent density, performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations, leaves of absence/accommodations, employee experience, offboarding, people projects, and other operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Coach and guide managers through performance management and employee relations matters

- Use people data and trends to inform decisions and uncover organisational insights

- Independently manage competing priorities in a virtual-first organisation

- Apply product management and design-thinking principles to the employee experience

- Partner cross-functionally with HRBPs, Legal, and the broader People team

- Influence leaders, managers, and cross-functional partners to drive thoughtful decisions

- Deliver clear and candid guidance on difficult or sensitive matters

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in HR or Employee Relations

- Demonstrated judgment handling complex employee relations matters

- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to navigate nuanced situations

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and integrity

- Proven ability to influence leaders and stakeholders without relying on direct authority

- Experience working effectively across internationally distributed, cross-functional teams

- Ability to treat employee experience as a product, applying product management and design thinking

- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools in the flow of work

Compensation: The Canada pay range is $125,400-$169,600 CAD.
