## Description

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to work in our outpatient rehab setting.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality patient care. You will assist with exercises, treatments, and education to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments

- Implement exercise programs and provide patient education on proper techniques and safety precautions

- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals

- Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of treatment plans

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

- Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

- Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of South Carolina

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a physical therapist assistant

- Certification in CPR and first aid

- Bilingual or multilingual skills
