## Description

Leidos UK & EUROPE are seeking talented Software Engineers to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to a multi-discipline team in the analysis of problems, solution work-up, and delivery of software as required across a wide range of applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Investigate potential problems in various systems

- Develop software requirements

- Contribute to architecture and design baselines

- Develop software solutions and recommendations and implement them

- Change and release management

- Technical risk and opportunity management

- Liaise with other disciplines, management, and team leadership

- Create software test plans and execute tests

- Adhere to all relevant software standards

**Required Skills:**

- Experience of delivering real-time and/or safety-related software

- Knowledge of software development languages (e.g., TAL, C, C++)

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, TACL)

- Experience of systems engineering, software development, integration, and test

- Knowledge of configuration management within a software engineering environment

- Experience of the complete project life cycle from bid through to operational delivery

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide clear technical direction

- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other stakeholders

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to build effective working relationships with the team, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders

- Strong time management and organisational skills

**Clearance Requirements:**

- Clearance to start BPSS

- Clearance for Role SC

- Willingness to undergo SC or DV clearance dependent on security requirements
