## Description

We are seeking an Offsite Backroom Team Leader to join our team at Target. As an Offsite Backroom Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members in the offsite backroom, ensuring that merchandise is received, stored, and transported efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience

- Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations

- Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognising great guest experience moments

- Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take actions to improve, and align team on the right behaviours and execution

- Lead the daily execution of tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organising the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for General Merchandise areas

- Collaborate with all teams and leaders to identify key priorities and ensure the store is guest ready

- Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team

- Responsible for the transportation, preparation, loading and unloading of product to and from an offsite storage location in a safe and efficient manner

- Ensure all backroom offsite processes are executed properly, backroom offsite organisation and location accuracy are maintained, and supplies are in-stock and readily available

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Age 18 or older

- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required

- Lead and hold others accountable

- Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

- Work independently and as part of a team

- Manage workload and prioritise tasks independently

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

- Effective communication skills
