## Description

We are seeking a Lighting Technical Director for a fixed-term contract of one year.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Create images, effects, and programs for digitally composited sequences

- Compile various elements of a shot and see it through to completion

- Design and implement direct and reflected lighting and shadows for assigned shots that meet art and tone direction

- Develop solutions and techniques that meet art/technical direction

- Navigate and use previous setups for at least a dozen shots, insertion of shot specialization, managing multiple assets and lighting setups

- Manage volumetric light setups, including shadowing and cucoloris development

- Light, material tweaking, and render for actors using CG hair and scattering skin materials

- Actively work with competency, energy, and enthusiasm within a team environment with daily supervision to complete a shot

- Demonstrate good listening and communication skills by openly receiving direction and criticism

- Demonstrate strong presentation/communication skills in dailies/shot review

- Anticipate potential problems and know what could look better in one's shot

- Prioritize tasks, manage time well, and provide accurate time estimates on shot task completion

- Mentor other digital artists in creative Lighting and technical aspects
