**Department/Function:** Financial Markets **Team:** Financial Markets **Internship Period:** 6 months; January-June

As part of our regional internship programme, you'll benefit from structured onboarding, cross-country networking opportunities, business insights sessions and a graduation experience designed to support your learning and professional development while connecting you with interns across APAC.

**What does the FM Team do in ING?** The FM Team services corporate and Financial Institutions clients in HK, China, as well as Telecom-Media-Technology (“TMT”) and Real Estate Finance (“REF”) clients pan Asia. They cover products across FICC and equities, including FX, rates, credit, commodities, equity, and money markets.

**What will you be doing?** You'll assist senior team members in day-to-day operations, familiarize yourself with key country and industrial regulations, and assist in generating reports and approval memos. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in preparation of presentation materials, meeting follow-ups, market commentaries, and market data analysis

- Compiling pipeline deals and presenting new business opportunities

- Learning different products

- Conducting client data and trend analysis and client organizational mapping

- Keeping abreast of market developments and competitive landscape

**What qualities and skills are we looking for?** We're looking for a passionate individual with:

- Pending University degree, with some courses in finance, economics, business disciplines

- Good analytical capabilities and presentation skills

- Strong organisational skills and ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines

- Self-motivated and confident with a high degree of initiative and drive

- Strong English and Chinese language capabilities (both spoken and written)

- Excellent team player
