## Description

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Test & Verification) to join the B-52J CERP Test team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position involves leading and directing other test engineers, determining requirements, writing tier three tests, and executing tests. You will design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.

**Position Responsibilities:**

- Lead the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.

- Partner with stakeholders and lead the review and identification of software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability.

- Design test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications.

- Advise on the setup and configuration of test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments.

- Execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.

- Provide advice on test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.

- Create, document, and maintain test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standards.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

- Lead software project management functions across test and verification activities involving multifunctional teams.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s Degree.

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

- 9+ years of experience with requirements, test development, and/or verification testing.

- Professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience.

- Experience developing STR, STD, SUM, test requirements, test cases, test procedures, and program tailored work instructions.

- Experience programming in Ada.

- Ability to develop/use Manual and Automated Test procedures.

- Ability to perform analysis on test results.

- Experience overseeing activities in DOORS.
