As a Lead Engineer in the Build Automation team, you will help shape and improve Grab's CI pipelines and tools for local development setup. You will collaborate with other Grabbers across teams and departments, driving innovation and promoting an environment of mutual support.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

- Develop and refine GitLab CI pipelines and the Go and Python tools they depend on.

- Improve compatibility and efficiency for service-oriented repositories.

- Enhance tools for local environment setup and updates, promoting reproducible builds with Go and Nix.

- Engage with users to gather requirements, propose improvements, and provide technical support.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure tools align with evolving project needs and industry standards.

- Develop solutions to improve CI tools usability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Programming proficiency in Go and Python.

- 7+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Experience with CI/CD concepts and their implementation in GitLab CI.

- Knowledge of Nix, including build isolation and reproducibility concepts.

- Professional experience with AWS.

- Experience with observability using DataDog, Kibana, and Grafana.

- Experience creating detailed technical documentation.

- Experience troubleshooting issues with users.
