## Description

The Production Planning Analyst will join the 3M Brownwood facility in Texas and support production planning operations. The role involves managing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring customer requirements and supply chain metrics are met.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production, and managing finished good inventory

- Coordinate with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets

- Provide planning analysis to support data-driven decision making

- Use data analytics to publish and present service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis

- Optimize and maintain production lot sizes, production cycles, and safety stocks to balance inventory and service

- Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects

- Collaborate with the business team to understand customer requirements and forecasts

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of supply chain experience

- Master's degree in supply chain, management, or business may be substituted for experience

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with Factory Planner or another MRP or ERP application

- Project management and leadership experience

- Data analytics experience

- Collaborative and interpersonal skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
