## Description

We are seeking an exceptional Contracts Manager to join our NWLP team and continue to shape the future of pathology services.

This role supports the contract management process for NWLP, to ensure delivery of Pathology that is high quality, better value for money and achieves NWLP and the owner Trust's objectives.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the NWLP/Imperial approach to: contracting; ensuring provider performance; and developing capability within the team.

**Main duties of the job**

- This role supports the contract management process for NWLP, to ensure delivery of Pathology that is high quality, better value for money and achieves NWLP and the owner Trust's wide objectives.

- Successful delivery of this role involves ensuring contract management for all contract services by ensuring robust systems for proactive contract performance monitoring that enable activity and clinical quality indicators to be specified, monitored, under-performance acted upon and future procurement decisions to be made.

- Contribute to the development of the NWLP/Imperial approach to contracting and provider performance and developing capability within the team.

**Job requirements**

- Professional knowledge, plus additional specialist, management knowledge acquired through training and experience to Masters level or equivalent relevant experience.

- Ability to present highly complex, sometimes contentious information to approximately 500x contract stakeholders.

- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to a broad range of professions and levels of seniority.

- Ability to analyse performance of Specialist service providers.

- Set strategic objectives and advice in areas where expert opinions differ.
