## Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Surveyor to join our Housing Service, focusing on ensuring void properties are safe, compliant, and ready for new tenants.

The successful candidate will carry out pre- and post-void inspections, review electrical installation condition reports (EICRs), manage testing and certification programs, and oversee contractors to deliver high-quality works.

As part of our Repairs Service, you will work with Operations Managers, compliance teams, contractors, and housing professionals to maintain approximately 20,000 tenanted and leasehold properties across the borough.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting electrical inspections, testing, and certification

- Managing contractors and monitoring performance

- Producing technical reports and schedules of work

- Identifying defects and specifying remedial works

- Ensuring high standards of quality assurance

Requirements:

- Qualified electrical professional with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

- AM2 certification and City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent

- Proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, and certification

- Experience managing contractors and monitoring performance

- Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and electrical compliance standards
