## Description

As a Mechanical BIM/Revit Technician, you'll be part of our Property & Buildings (P&B) Mechanical team in Victoria, BC, contributing to building projects across British Columbia and the Yukon.

You'll develop detailed mechanical BIM models and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD for various building projects, supporting the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Key responsibilities:

- Create detailed mechanical BIM models and construction documents

- Support design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams

- Apply and interpret BC Building Code, BC Plumbing Code, National Building Code, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards

- Prepare system calculations using industry-standard load analysis tools

- Assist with equipment selection, schedules, and specifications

- Contribute to quality assurance and quality control processes

- Support construction phase activities

Requirements:

- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field

- Eligibility for registration with ASTTBC

- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD

- Experience preparing mechanical BIM models, drawings, and technical documentation

- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems and building construction practices

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Carrier HAP or Trane TRACE is an asset

Compensation:

- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400

- MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800

- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,900 – $83,800
