## Description

Splunk, now part of Cisco, is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to lead its Presales organization in Norway and Denmark. As a Presales Manager, you will bridge the gap between commercial and technical sales, articulating and presenting the value of Splunk's technology to customers. You will lead, manage, and develop a Presales organization, working closely with sales teams and delivering technical value.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver strategy and value-based presentations

- Develop and drive customer-facing initiatives to generate business outcomes

- Work closely with sales management on account strategies

- Lead and manage a world-class SE team

- Identify and hire top talent into the Presales organization

- Mentor and coach Presales Engineers

- Define development and performance plans to maximize team potential

- Provide oversight on Presales activities, such as POC planning and execution

- Work closely with Nordic and Benelux SE Managers on Presales resource prioritization

- Participate in account planning meetings

As a leading member of the Presales Team, you will:

- Provide technical leadership and vision

- Write and deliver excellent presentations

- Attend and demonstrate the value of Splunk solutions at field events

- Develop relevant Presales material

Requirements:

- Domain knowledge and experience in AI, Application Performance Management, Security, Business Intelligence/Web Analytics, or Operational Intelligence

- Experience in financial services, insurance, telecommunications, or retail markets

- Ability to develop a strong understanding of target clients' businesses and industry trends

- University Bachelor's degree or similar

- Proactive and self-sufficient with strong leadership and management skills

- Strong communication skills, fluent in English and either Norwegian or Danish

- Proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology
